RENTRI: The digital revolution in waste management!

A major innovation is about to transform waste management in Italy! With the Ministerial Decree of April 4, 2023, No. 59, the National Electronic Register for Waste Traceability (RENTRI) has been introduced, which will digitize the entire administrative process related to waste, progressively eliminating paper documentation.

After months of waiting and partial information, the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security has finally activated the official portal: www.rentri.gov.it

Who needs to register?

From December 15, 2024, to February 13, 2025, registration will be mandatory for organizations and businesses that are initial producers of hazardous and non-hazardous special waste with more than 50 employees as of December 31, 2024.

What is NCR doing?

NCR has already completed the registration and appointed internal contacts to manage the RENTRI system, to whom we can turn for support.
