Our commitment, in black and white: NCR Biochemical publishes its first Sustainability Report

NCR Biochemical presents its first Sustainability Report, covering the 2025 financial year: a document that outlines the path we have taken as a company and the goals we will continue to work towards.

Prepared in accordance with the VSME standard, the Report brings together data and information on environmental, social and governance (ESG) aspects, with the aim of making our commitment increasingly concrete, measurable and transparent towards customers, employees, partners and the communities around us.

As our CEO, Marco Antonio Novi, points out, “sustainability is a daily driver for continuous improvement”: a principle that translates into concrete actions and projects.

Some of the key areas covered in the Report include:

• Green energy: thanks to our photovoltaic system of over 400 kWp, we now generate more than 40% of the electricity we consume.
• Products and environmental impact: we have calculated the Carbon Footprint of 18 products to better understand and monitor their environmental impact.
• Circular economy: we promote the recovery and reuse of resources, including the recovery of process water for reuse in compatible production processes.
• People first: we support our team through flexible welfare initiatives and continuous training, with more than 400 hours of training provided in 2025.

For more than 25 years, we have been working to create long-term value. The publication of this first Report marks a starting point: a tool to better understand what we have achieved, measure our progress and make more informed decisions for the future.
